Bulldog Accounting
Refreshing the logo and building out the brand for this friendly and flexible accountant.
Rachel at Bulldog Accounting’s friendly and flexible approach to helping SMEs and sole traders is totally fuss-free. She already had a basic logo, but it was in need of a refresh, and Rachel was also keen to build out the brand for use online and beyond.
I knew from the start that this was going to be a fun project to work on (I mean come on, it’s dog-themed!) but also I understood the professionalism Rachel’s business needed to convey alongside that lighter side.
Rachel was keen to keep the teal colour she’d used before, so I modernised the colour palette and created a new logo, with Rachel’s bulldog, Esme, as the brand mascot. Esme is stylised as a symmetrical and precise icon, representing the brand perfectly.

Website
The new website for Bulldog Accounting was great to work on, as it was a real collaboration between myself, Rachel, web designer Sarah at Dare to Dream Digital and copywriter Megan Rose. As a result, Rachel has a website that looks great visually, works hard to rank for SEO, and shows off her skills and services with the end-user in mind.
Branded merchandise and more
After we’d developed Rachel’s new logo, we went on to design stationery, social media graphics and headers, each with their specific audiences in mind. And with Bulldog Accounting’s third year anniversary approaching, we designed some really exciting merchandise to appeal to her customers and partners.
What the client thinks
Jackie recently did a rebranding exercise for me, ahead of the launch of my new website. I’m delighted with the results and thoroughly enjoyed the process. I was pretty vague about what I wanted and Jackie was able to translate my muddled thoughts into a really exciting logo package, and help me think about how I wanted to use it. She worked in tandem with my website builder and made the whole thing very easy for me. A really great experience, I would thoroughly recommend!
